Dr. Kimberly Ammerman is a practicing pharmacist, a lifelong horsewoman and a coach. She keeps 17 horses on 100 acres near Whitewood, close to Deadwood.
Everything is done on the ground. Nobody rides. A session can be as simple as grooming a horse while she asks questions, watches and gives space.
She offers two, three and five day retreats, private sessions, and a three-level practitioner training program for people who want to do this work themselves.
No horse experience is needed, and people who are afraid of horses are welcome. Closed-toe shoes are the one requirement.
Healing Hearts with Horses offers coaching and personal development. It is not psychotherapy, counseling or medical care.
Healing Hearts with Horses is listed under Health & Wellness Coaching in the Dialed In Health directory.
