- Who trained you, and when? You want a name, an institution and a year. Several practitioners in this guide publish this without being asked, which is a good sign.
- Are you licensed in anything, and by whom? Massage and counseling licenses come from the state and can be verified. Reiki and sound healing certifications come from whoever taught the class. Both are fine. They are not the same thing.
- What does a session cost, and how long is it? Four practitioners here publish rates. If you cannot get a number on the phone, that is information.
- What does a session actually involve? Will you be clothed. Will you be touched. Will there be sound, light, heat or oils.
